I think that educational justice starts with empowering teachers more. They are the backbone of the entire system. When they are properly respected and compensated, it makes the profession that much more enticing to enter for people who want to make a difference.

To achieve educational justice, it's important to keep these conversations going in administrative and classroom settings. These conversations should be mandatory to allow people to gain a deeper understanding of the discrimination that has happened in education in the past and the discrimination that continues to happen daily. Education justice includes discussing these matters and strategizing solutions to create a more just system.

We can achieve educational justice by continuing these conversations and further educating the public on historical and current education injustices. School administration, students, and community members should be encouraged to educate themselves on this matter and to speak up when they see injustice within schools.

Education should be a priority. We like to talk about it, but are we really putting in all the time, effort, and attention it deserves? We should respect the teaching profession, but we are doing nothing to show teachers how important they are. Teachers are thrown crumbs, but we truly deserve the entire loaf of bread! Once teachers are shown JUSTICE then, maybe the education system will have Justice.
